Join us for three films flown in from Spain, Mexico and Chile. Whether it’s couple trying to figure our their complicated connection (Kano o Kama), a mother looking back at the life of her son (The Palace of the Moon), or three sets of men trying to define their relationships (The Men and the River), there’s a drama for everyone. Presented in association with the North Brooklyn Public Art Coalition and FLUID. And for his first outdoor Moviehouse performance, VJ Clay Franklin warms you up with his mind melting visuals.

We invite you into the world of South American rock n’ roll and the Dogma Collective

There’s the rockumentary El Festivalfff featuring bands from across the continent at Ecuador’s Ambato Festival. There’s also music videos from the underground and the popular including Tanque, Sudakaya, Nepentes, Space Bees and Can Can. And the start the night there’s a performance by NYC’s own Elextra representing the North American branch of Dogma.

When Clouds Clear follow the radical struggle of the remote Ecuadorian town, Junín and the conflicts that have arisen due to international mining interests.

These once-peaceful farmers find themselves thrust into a dangerous world of corruption, splintered households, murder and arson as they fight to protect their land and families.
